What is your favorite horse show?  I love them all.  But if I have to pick it would have been the Select Would show.

What your favorite event to show in?  I started out showing halter horse.  But the last few years I have gotten into pleasure horses.

What your favorite class to watch?  Halter and pleasure

Who is your favorite horses? And why?  Well that's a hard one.  I have had several favorite ones.  Halter horse would be Shez an Obvious Playgirl. Aka Peach. Because she was a joy to show. I put over 38 halter points on her.  Many grands and reserves. She is the mare I showed at the select World.  Riding horse would be DW Town Flash. Aka Sweetie.  Even though she is very tough to ride she has taught me a lot.  And My Kinda Night. Aka Jasper.  It a new bond, but I think showing him this year is going to be fun.

If not at a horse show what would we find you doing?  Playing with my two Jack Russell dogs. Lola and Nipper. And my cats.  I make jewelry, crochet and knit.  I love to cook.

Do you have another job besides taking care of your horses?  No, I retired early from the Metropolitan Community colleges after 30 years to take care of my sick husband and mom.  Sadly both are gone now.

Favorite food? Love all kinds of food.  But crab legs are up there.

Favorite restaurant? Any home cooking one.

Favorite fun class at a horse show?  Halter

Favorite movie?  I have so many I love.  But  The Searchers and Gone With The Wind

Favorite Quotes?  "What is the secret of success?  Right decisions.  How do you make right decisions? Experience.  How do you get experience? Wrong decisions " - John Wayne

What is your dream vacation?  I took it when I got to go to Italy.  And got to go to Monument Valley.

One piece of advice you would like to share with exhibitors who just started?  I feel you don't always have to win you just need to go out there and do your best.  And be proud of it.  You also need to practice because you can't win unless you put in the time.
